Hi everyone! :) It's Hazim here – there have been a couple of important milestones + updates on our side since the last write-up, so I thought I'd share a quick update with all of you.
Growth & Traction
🏆 TechCrunch Disrupt Startup Battlefield 200
- CoffeeSpace was recently selected to be part of this year's TechCrunch Disrupt Startup Battlefield 200!
- As big fans of Silicon Valley (the series), it's surreal to live out our own Richard Hendricks / Pied Piper TC Disrupt moment. This win is as much yours as it is ours, we couldn't have made it without your unwavering support :)
🚀 200,000 swipes and 7,250 matches to date on CoffeeSpace
- We've passed 200,000 swipes (82% CMGR) and 7,250 matches (64% CMGR) on CoffeeSpace!
- In addition to our "Success Stories" series, we've also launched our "Founder Journeys" series where we explore the remarkable stories and cofounder journeys behind the world’s most successful startups, starting with the story behind Reddit and Telegram.
📱 LinkedIn Data Integrated to CoffeeSpace
- All CoffeeSpace user profiles now also include their LinkedIn's experience section.
- The education section will be pushed by the end of this week.
- With this data on CoffeeSpace, we plan to also introduce the 'Domain Expertise' filter in addition to industries of interest as currently reflected on users' profiles (likely sometime in Q4 2024).
🌐 Revamped CoffeeSpace Website
- Key stats on user numbers and ratios on tech/non-tech & idea stage.
- Main differences from other cofounder matching platforms like YC's CFM, CofoundersLab, etc.
- A global map showing the distribution of users by country.
🎉 Final Allocations for Our Community Round
- It's been incredibly humbling to see the support of so many incredible backers who've already joined our community round that we launched a couple of months
